President Leonard Formanek has had the privilege to work for Met One [(now Pacific Scientific, Hiac Royco, Hach, Great Lakes) all owned by Danaher, a Danish company, from 1989 through 1997, and was trained at their West Coast facility in Grants Pass, Oregon and at the Chemtrac, Inc. Southeast facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Len has over 40 years of hands-on experience in the particle counter industry.
Len has serviced many pharmaceutical and semiconductor companies along the Eastern seaboard, together with companies along the Mississippi river, as far south as Puerto Rico, and including Montreal. These companies include: Wyeth-Lederle, AT&T, Eli Lilly, Flanders Filters, IBM, GLAXO SmithKline, Lockheed Martin and NASA. Laserlenz also provides new counter upgrades, and calibrates and repairs particle counters for many municipal water treatment facilities in the USA. Len has operated a service center out of Charlotte, North Carolina since 1993.
Being involved with cleanrooms since Federal Standard 209B, now ISO 21501, Len has helped promote clean controlled environments through detailed oriented particle counter instrumentation calibrations and repairs.
